My mother recalls seeing a Hersey Family Tree on the wall of my grandmother's house whose maiden name was Hersey. Her father, my great grandfather, was Walter Hersey probably from Maine born 1861, although Vermont and Massachusettes are possibilities. His father might have been a George Hersey, also from Maine.

I've seen mention of the Hersey Family Tree on this board and wonder if it's the same one my mother saw more than 50 years ago. And if it is, I would certainly be interested in getting a copy. Does anyone know if there are copies available?

I have a bad copy of this document, but I was told it is at Yale. I don't know for sure, but I will try to find out for you if interested. Please contact me. JoAn

HI my Great Great grandfather is Walter Edwin Hersey Born about 1860-1861 in Auburn Maine he had married Sarah E Hersey from Harpswell Me(actual maiden name) in 08 Jan 1880 they were married for a short time and had a son Clarence Edwin Hersey Who married Laura Pinkham is this any relation?

Are you the son of Wilson Edwin Hersey? I have Walter Edwin Hersey (b 1/7/1859)from Cumberland Co., Maine as the son of George R. Hersey (b 5/22/1829) and Louisa Purinton Rich.
