I'm looking for info about people with those last names who lived in the 18 and early 1900's. The names are Rudolph Webinger, Mabel Widing, Milton Bahnemann, Loraine Segl, and Albert Bahneman. (Of note both Loraine's and Mabel's surnames are the maiden names.

Hi!
I'm descended from a Widing born in 1874 and have been collecting lots of information about Widing families in Sweden and the US. Would like to share information with you!

Danna, where was the birthplace of the father of Andrew John Widing and what was his name? I'm wondering if there is any connection to my family.

Hope I am doing this right.
The Father of Andrew John Widing was John Widing from Sweden. We are not sure if this was his name for sure or not because when they came to America there possibly was a name change. His name could have been John ? Johanson from Sweden.

Danna - I was given a package of pictures today that my father's brother had. My dad is 90 and doesn't remember very much about his mother IDA WIDING (she died about 1924) and her family from St. Paul, but says she had a brother Andrew, a sister Mabel and a sister Bessie. He couldn't remember the names of the other brother(s). The pictures include a shot of 4 young women together, taken in St. Paul, MN. Ida married Elmer Highberg from Spokane, WA. Does any of this information fit anything you (or anyone else) have? I'd be happy to share photos, especially if someone can help ID the people in them. I have almost no information about Ida, but would like to hear from anyone who does.

Re: Rudolph Webinger, Mabel Widing, Milton Bahnemann, Loraine Segl, and Albert Bahneman
My great-grandmother was Mabel Widing of St.Paul, Minnesota. Before my grandfather, Bernie Webinger died he told me about his grandparents from Sweden and I decided to research the family tree. However, I know almost nothing about the Widing family other than my great-grandmother was the youngest of several children and had a twin brother named Carl. I'd be interested in any information you have about the Widings.

Any information you have about Widings in Minnesota would be helpful. In particular, I am hoping to find info that would help me trace them back to Sweden.
Tack så mycket!
