Hi browsing the site but decided to look up my maiden name of spearing just thought i would drop you a line if you require any information i will try and inform you as much as possible.
As far as i am aware most of my decendants came from middlesex area of England (this apparently covers a vast area of London)

Do you have any information on a Thomas Spearing born 1889 or 1890, Ohio? He was a Millwright in Chicago in 1930.

Looking for information concerning my uncle, Thomas V. Spearing born OH, 8 Jan 1898 died FL, 26 Nov. 1990 worked as a Merchant Marine on Great Lakes and at Detroit Ford Motors as a supervisor. My uncle, Elmer Spearing born OH, 27 Sept 1895, died Bel-Air, Harford MD Dec. 1974, served and wounded in WWI, owned and operated a farm in Harford MD 1930-1974. Their sister that lived in the Reading PA area 1950’s. My father Ollie Rex Spearing, Lewistown, PA died 1966.

Am researching family of Sarah Spearing born circa 1816 married to Abraham Richards & lived in Middlesex - mainly Paddington & Islington I think. Sarah's father was William Spearing, don't know mother's name & cannot go back any further.

Please could you give me some more information on William if you have it and anymore relatives i will investigate as my fathers father was William if i could have any information no matter how little there may be a link in some way. If not i have information that i could send you on other Spearings that i have collated over the years if we have no connection.

Only just found this line so doubt I can help much. Have Sarah Spearing's marriage cert 7 April 1844 St John's church, Paddington, to Abraham Richards. SS is "of full age" and father given as William Spearing, shoemaker.
Have found 3 Sarah Spearings on IGI - best bet looks like the one X'nd 3 Jul 1814 @ St Andrew Holborn, London. Parents William and Mary - no other info. The other 2 are from Somerset (1815 Wm & Hannah) and Porchester (1811 Wm & Ann)
Can find census entries for SS& Ab'ham R after their marriage but not an obvious entry for SS in 1841 before marriage.
This is all I have sadly & without parish records will struggle to get more.
Anything you can fill in?

To add my two pennyworth for Spearing researchers passing by, one of the couples mentioned by Judy Greenman, William Spearing and wife Ann (Smith) are my husbands ancestors, at least 7 children born to them Ann 16 Nov 1805, Harriet 23 Nov 1807, Sarah 21 Ap 1811, Charlotte 27 Dec 1812, James 7 Sep 1815, Elizabeth and Ester 14 Oct 1816. William was a soldier in baracks at Porchester and later a Vintner there. Charlotte married David Hart at Gussage All Saints in 1836, they had seven children, Mary born 1850 being my husbands grandmother.
Hope that is of interest to someone one day, be in touch.

I have William Spearing (shoemaker) born about 1790. Daughter Sarah born about 1816, married Abraham Richards in 1844, died 1881 in Islington.
