Searching for ancestors/decendants of Andrew Green(e). He is my wife's grandfather. His wife was Georgia Ann Padgett. They had a son, Andrew Feaster (Green(e), born December 10, 1880. We know nothing else about Andrew Green(e). Georgia remarried a John C. "Red John" Griffis in 1885. John adopted her son Andrew Feaster (Greene?) and gave him the last name Griffis. Any leads appreciated.

I don't have any information about brothers or sisters. I've been told his parents were Abraham R. Griffis and Easter Griffis. Are these Violet's parents?

My G-G-Grandmother Rebecca Giffis who was born in Bradford County in 1855 had a sister named Easter born April 1861, and other siblings. But I show her being married to a Bryant Wilkerson,could be a first or second marriage I suppose. I have Easter Griffis parents as Husband: Berry or Westberry Griffis, Wife: Penny Padgett. I am researching the Griffis and Revels families and I am descended from Rebecca Griffis that married to William Shelby Revels in Putnum Co. in 1854. This Rebecca Griffis was the child of Charles Griffis III and Mary Magdelene Tucker. Westberry Griffis was my husband's grandfather married three times 20 or 21 children, his 3rd wife was Laura Blitch who married a Clark who disappeared they had one child Lula Clark. Westberry and Laura had Willie Griffis who was my husband's father. I have plenty of info on the Westberry Family. Glad to share.

Hi... I believe that Rebecca Griffis is a distant relative. Her father I beleiev was the half brother of my grandfather. On some papers I have come across her grandmother Martha S. Futch not only was married to Charles II but it appears to his brother Manning who is my g-grandfather. I am not sure if this is true. My father Grady Griffis just passed away in Feb 2002 (Rebecca's cousin). We are in Brevard County

I am Linda J Griffis and I was just wondering if you have any info on Easter, 1887 - before 1935; Louise, 1890 - UNK; they were in the household of James and Melinda Norman/Starling Griffis I cannot find them on any census records either. But then I never found my Aunt Selma who actually is my cousin but she told me she wasn't my aunt,but Grandpa James and Grandpa Melinda did raise her. I do not know who Easter married. Louise married FNU Johns.

Also, do you happen to have any info on Miriam Griffis, Dec 19 1911 -1990? She is the daughter of Mack and Ollie Sapp
Griffis. She married Clyde L Clark, no dates for him. And lastly, who does Toby or Tobie Griffis belong to? Uncle Mack and Aunt Ollie or Miriam?
