anyone have info on "OLYMPE PAUL d/o Pierre Paul s/o Joseph and Pelagie Lavallee, maried with Marie Antoinette Richer-Lafleche in ST Ours 24 avr 1820.

I have an another OLYMPE PAUL, d/o Pierre Paul and Marie Louise Richer apparently of Gracefield Olympe married Joseph St Amour in Maniwaki 31 august 1856

I have checked the marriages in St-Ours and Sorel and found three sisters and two brothers of Olympe Paul all married in St-Ours but I did not find Olympe's marriage. I have also found Antoinette Richer Laflèche's parents and grand-parents. Antoinette was a widow and had been married to Joseph Richard. Joseph Paul & Pelagie Lavallée were married 4-11-1793 in St-Pierre de Sorel parish. Pelagie's parents were Emmanuel Lavallee and Marguerite Dupuis. If I find something on Pelagie will let you know.

Here is an odd deal. My name is Karen Gamache, (sound familiar?) and I have a great great grandmother named Angelique Vallee/Lavallee/Levallee. Her father was Antione La Vallee and her mother was Susanne Lefebrve and they came from Fort Edmonton NWT in the early 1800's. I have very little information on this line. Angelique married twice. First to Louis Le Blanc and them to Basile Hebert.

By the way the name is a dit name in our family ours should have been Mayota but my grandfather took the name of his stepfather.
