Hello, i am looking for any information on Sari Fedak. She was a famous singer and actress. She was born 1879. october 26 in Beregszasz and died in 1955 (majus?) budapest.

The name FEDAK, VELC'KO can be found in Slovak Republic's phone book.

There is also a very small village named S'apinec in Slovak Republic.

Fedák Sári was one of the most famose actress on Hungarian stage. I am sure you will find her in books and Museum in Budapest.

Hello. I realize this is an old message. I am part of the Fedak family that came to the US. My grandfather was a Fedak and I beleive Sari was his Aunt. My grandfather changed the name to Marshall for certian reasons back in the middle 30's just about 2 years after my mother was born. I have some info from my families side if anyone sees this. Dave

Hello Dave, Sari had a brother Stephan. Sari's frather was Dr. Stephan. I'm trying to find out if my great grandfather Janos was Dr. Fedak's brother. The only bonafide relative of Sari's I found was Maria De Day nee Fedak from Argintina. Sari was her aunt and Steve was her father. I don't know if she is still around but it was difficult to communicate with her by email. I suspect that she didn't get most of my messages as she lived in Caracus.

Hello Matt! Surprised to actually hear from someone. I'll have to check into my families connection to Sari. My uncle wrote a screenplay about her to make a move, but he passed away last year. I have a copy somewhere, but can't imagine what I did with it. My uncle was connected with some people in Hollywood in the movie business and sold a few other scripts. I'm at work right now, so I have to make this short. I'll get back to you as soon as possible, hopefully with some more information. Dave

Thanks so much for the links! Now all I have to do is figure out just where Sari and everybody else fits in. Most of my family from that side have passed and the remaining ones aren't too clear. I should have paid more attention to Grandma when she was alive. Figures.
