Look up at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn
I have just learnt that an ancestor Michael PIGOTT was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery on 26 February 1918. Is there anybody living in New York near that cemetery who could inquire as to the location of the grave, if there is a tombstone - which I doubt as he died poor - and who is buried with him ? His wife was Bridget and one of his daughter married a Mr Wallace. Many thanks.

Re: Look up at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn
If you call Holy Cross at 1 718 284 4520 and give them your person's name and death date, they will give you the section, range, and grave # where he's buried. It's a very large cemetery. They may be able to answer your other questions, as well.
Good luck, Judi

Hi Judi, Many thanks for your advice. It worked and I have now the details of the 8 persons buried with Michael PICKETT/PIGOTT, plus his brother John's grave, all this thanks to you.
