Interested in information abt the family of McCosh living in Drongan 1730-1800. Entries for Robert McCosh bpt 1750 and John McCosh bpt 1753 appear in the Stair parish register. Robert McCosh bpt 1793 may have come to New Brunswick, Canada abt 1820.

McCosh: my grannie was called McCosh, and she used to live in scotland when she was little, she got married to an Abraham whose name was changed to Furse because Abraham was too jewish for the war.. i think.. im only 14 and im kinda bored but if you want to reply thatd be cool, ive always wanted to know if i have relatives in america - im from england

You mentioned Kilbirnie in your 1999 post. I have many interests in Kilbirnie/Dalry/Beith. My Elizabeth McCosh
daughter of Thomas McCosh of Drongan married John Boyle.
Their daughter Elizabeth Boyle married James Keay who died at Kilbirnie. Andrew Keay married Betsy Martin and were my great grandparents. My grandmother was Elizabeth Boyle Martin Keay m. George Knox.

Re McCosh - I now know that Elizabeths brother was James McCosh of Barkip/Dalry. There were other living siblings in 1823 and I am seeking to connect with others interested in this family.
