Has anyone discovered a JAMES BELL (sometimes written BEALL or ABELL), born in Washington Co (later Marion Co), KY, about 1816 in his/her research? First married Cordelia/Delia Burch of Larue Co in 1849 (five children). Second married Susan (Rogers) Ross of Nelson Co in 1865 (six children). Died in 1892 in Nelson Co and buried at St. Catherine's in New Haven. I'm at a dead end searching for this direct ancestor's parents and siblings. Greatly appreciate ANY help! Will share info on descendants in these lines.

I do believe this is a connection of Eldon Marion Perkins whose father was Benjamin F. Perkins and Mother Huldah Catherine McDonald, from Moundville, Vernon County, Missouri.

I am currently working on this family. Susan Rogers was an ancestor. Do you have a family tree? Will be happy to share what little I do have.

I am looking for information on the above John & Margret.
I know that they were in in Martin County, Indiana before 1850.
In the pension of their son, Alfred, Margret states they were married in Dubois County, Indiana in 1829. However, ALL their older children are listed as being born in Kentucky on respective census. There son, my line, John J. BELL's second marriage return, he lists his place of birth as NELSON County, KY.
Census data for both John & Margret most consistantly lists their place of birth as Pennsylvannia.

Is there any chance that my john is tied to either of these families listed? Any help will be greeatly appreciated.
