Does anyone have any info on a Margaret Kirkland b. 1786 Va. on 1850 and 1860 Wilkinson Co. census? She has 2 Fisher girls living with her; Ellen and Margaret Fisher b. b/t 1845-1850. I need the name of the Kirkland spouse and who these Fisher children belong to. If anyone has any info, or the slightest lead, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank You! Brenda

I am trying to get in touch with family members to confirm this,but it's been a hard task.
I started just last week with three of four names and never thought I would get so far.
The only thing I know for sure is that Simeon B. Fisher married a woman named Selonese (don't know maiden name)
who was Native American.
Simeon and Selonese are my g-g-great granparents

Margaret Fisher died April, 1850 from fever in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana born about 1815, in Mississippi. Ref: Deaths, in [1850-1880] Ancestry.com

Also, in 1850, Catahoula Parish there is Mary Fisher 65, with Adam Fisher age 31. I don't know if there is a relation, or not.

Vanhart Fisher and Caroline Hunt married 8 June, 1852, in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. She apparently died before 1860.

A. C. Fisher and E. Fisher married 28 March, 1866 in Concordia Parish.

G. M. Fisher and Octavia Brewer married 20 May, 1896 Catahoula.

Bowman Fisher and Sarah Briggs married 23 February, 1881 Catahoula.

Some of these may not relate, but thought I'd include them.

William Day Fisher son of George M and Sarah married my aunt Sarah Elizabeth Smith.

I am also related, by marriage to Sarah Ann Fisher, daughter of Major K Fisher, son of George M. Fisher. She married 1) Marion McNeely 2)my uncle, on my mother's side.
