I am looking for relatives or information on the descendants of Cornelius Kenna who lived in the Aberdeen area around 1850/1880's.

He was married to a Hannah Murray and they had one daughter that we know of, by the name of Catherine Kenna born in 1855.

We think they may have married in Agonley, County Clare,Ireland.

Cornelius died in 1901 in Aberdeen aged 74. If you have any information regarding this branch of our family or if you think we may be related please email us.

thanks for your note but I don't think my family is the same as yours. The Kennahs came from county Offaly and settled in New York State, US. Note the change in spelling of the last name. We think they changed it here in the US. the best way to do your research is to start working backwards with what you know. Begin with your parents and grandparents. Good luck!
