I am looking for descendants of Anna Koch (* about 1879 in Frankenstein/Silesia) and Johann Laschke (*about 1878 probably in Reichenstein/Silesia). I will list their children (all born in Frankenstein) below.
Anna had an illegitimate daughter Emilie whose children (my father-in-law and his sister) are still alive. Emilie never talked about her family and only recently have we found out that she had 10 more half brothers and sisters. We are looking if there are still some living cousins of my father-in-law.
Here is the list of the children:
1. Richard Josef *10. Juni 1903 , m: 17. Januar 1926 to Agnes Anst
> 2. Anna Maria * 14. August 1905
> 3. Hermann Alfred *4. Dezember 1906
> 4. Wilhelm Alfred *14. September 1908
> 5. Alfons Johann *7. April 1910
> 6. Joseph Max *29. Juli 1912
> 7. Georg Maria *18. Dezember 1913
> 8. Hedwig Maria * 30. April 1917
> 9. Martha Hildegard *19. Juni 1918
> 10. Herbert Alfred *11. Mai 1920
We are greatful for any hints we can get!

I am trying to find information on an Emilie Koch who immigrated to U.S. on Dec. 4, 1893, on the ship Suevia with Joseph and Marie Koch and their children Josephing, Pierre, and Leonie. She was 21 at that time. I thought it would be amazing if she were your Emilie who was the illegitimate daughter of Anna Koch. Anna MIGHT be Joseph's sister - the age is right. The only thing I know about Joseph's family is that his father's name was also Jos Koch. The ship passenger list says they came from Saaymund, which I'm thinking may have been Saarland, although some other paperwork I've found shows they came from Bliesbruck, which is 12 miles from Saarbrucken. I know you show Anna in Silesia, but that wouldn't be a great distance away - and either one of them could have moved for marriage purposes or work etc. Another thing I saw in your post was the similarity in the names Anna called her other children by Johann Laschke to the Koch family names in America.

One more thing - the Kochs arrived at Ellis island on Dec. 4, 1983, and came from there to Alton, Iowa. I can't find any further mention of Emilie.
