this article was on a page that I had copied I thought might be of interest to someone. "St. Clair" Mrs. Geo. Landseidel, nee Elizabeth Young, died at her home in St. Clair town Monday from chronic valvular heart trouble. The deceased was born May 30, 1849 in Detroit. In young womanhood she was married to Geo. Landseidel, a native of Germany and made her home in St. Clair town where they since resided. To them were born nine children of whom one was drowned and one died after reaching manhood in the state of
Washington. The others are living and of these Mary, George, and Frank are at home; Anna now Mrs. Chas. Revenue resides in St. Clair;
Amos lives in Detroit; Benjamin is in business in
Wisconsin and Edward in the state of
Washington. The father of the family now 89 years of age is still living and with the children remain to mourn her loss. Mrs. Landseidel was a member of the Catholic church and during her long residence here had made a large circle of friends by who she highly esteemed and who will regret she is to be with then no more.
