My mother is Lulabelle (Pollington) Zacek and her sister was Fae Marjorie (Pollington) VanHaitsma who was married to Charley and had two girls (Marjorie and Lenora) and two boys (Fred and Stanley). Hi Ruth. I'm your cousin once removed, or something. Penny Pollington is my mom (Claude Pollington is my grandfather). I have also been doing a lot of research on the Pollingtons and Wheelers on up. I would love to see what you have.

On the Pollington's, I have up to Henry & Emily (Lovett).

On the Rowe's, I have Benjamin's info & very little about his parent's Benjamin & Sarah.

On the Kaiser's, I have only Susanna's parent's names, George & Margaret.

On the Wheeler's, I have Andrew Wesley Wheeler & his parent's names, John & Sabrina.

On the Case's I found some info, but do not know if it is correct. I have Christiana's parent's, Adam & Salinda (E.) with their birth & death dates. I found more info on Adam Case's family back to the 1600's, but I don't know if its correct.

i think that i have hit most of the information on line about missaukee county. but i can seem to find information past henry charles pollington. i know that he was born in gait canada but thats about it. i can't seem to find out more.

I see it has been a while since queries have been posted about this family.
I am interested in finding more information if you have it on the siblings & descendants of Lillie Rowe and Charles Henry Pollington.
My line is connected to Lillie's parents Benjamin Rowe and Susanna Kaiser from Perth County, Ontario Canada.

I have a copy of Benjamin's father's Last Will & Testament, death cert, and census. The Will revealed the names of Benjamin's siblings. I am descended from Benjamin's older brother.

Benjm jr was born in Suffolk. His parents Sarah Muttit and Benjamin Rowe emigrated from England circa 1830 and landed in Ontario Canada. They farmed near what is now Oshawa, Durham County area. Benjamin jr moved to Perth County with 3 of his brothers and leased/owned land in 1851 & 1861.

Susanna Kaiser was born in Hesse Germany. Her parents farmed in Perth County near Benjamin jr's land holdings. It appears that Benj & Susanna immigrated to US circa 1876 according to the 1900 Census of Riverside, Missaukee, MI.

I recently found Benjamin Rowe, Lillie and Charles Henry Pollington, & other Pollington family buried in Riverside Cemetery Missaukee. I don't have anything on Susanna Rowe's death or burial.

Is anyone able to take digital photos of the headstones if they exist? ... before the snow falls ;)

Would be grateful for any assistance with descendant information or family photos.

What a pleasant surprise to read your post.

I have not looked for information on Benjamin Rowe and his wife Susanna Kaiser for many years.

I only came across your post because I was trying to look for some information for one of Charles Henry/Henry Charles Pollington's descendants who lives in Missaukee County, Michigan.

I am the wife of Leroy Good who is a grandson of Malinda Angeline Rowe and William Harvey Good. Malinda Angeline Rowe was the daughter of Benjamin Rowe and Susanna Kaiser. My husband and I live in Ogemaw County, Michigan where Malinda and William Harvey Good last lived.

My records show that Susanna Kaiser Rowe died on April 22, 1921 in the Detroit, Michigan area. She was living at the time with her daughter Amanda (Mandy) Rowe Hyatt. I have a copy of the death certificate from Wayne County, Michigan, and a copy of an obituary from "The McBain Chronicle" of McBain, Michigan.

The obituary states, in part, that "Susanna Kiser was born in Dewerham, Germany, February 24, 1842, came to this country with her parents at the age of 13 years. She was married to Benjamin Rowe of Logan, Canada, July 3rd, 1862, 10 children were born to them. Six of whom survive."

Note: I believe Susanna's obituary should have read "went to Canada with her parents at the age of 13 years". I base that on the 1900 Census.

I only have the names of the six children who were named in the obituary, plus the name of one foster daughter.

2. Lillian Rowe who married Charles Henry/Henry Charles Pollington
3. Frederick Rowe whose wife was Mary, maiden name possibly Rowe
4. Malinda Angeline Rowe who married William Harvey Good
5. Jemima Rowe who married Lincoln Hess
6. Amanda Rowe who married Dave Hyatt
> Foster daughter, Mae Stearns who married Howard Hull

The 1900 Census of Riverside Township, Missaukee County, Michigan shows that Susanna had ten children with only six surviving at that time. That Census also shows that Benjamin Rowe was a Naturalized Citizen and that both he and his wife had been in the U. S. for 23 years. The year of immigration to the U. S. was listed as 1876 for both of them. You mentioned the 1900 Census in your post so I assume you already know this information.

I have a photo of some of the tombstones in Riverside Cemetery located in Riverside Township, Missaukee County, Michigan. One photo is the Rowe tombstone and another is the tombstone for Charles H. and Lillie Pollington. They can be scanned in my computer and e-mailed to you, if you are interested.

I would appreciate copies of the documents you wrote about in your post.

I have a grandma that passed away about 15 years ago, her name was eva mae pollington. Her father was named clarance and moms name was ethel. Her relatives were from montana. so i was thinking possibly this was her father.
