Hi all,
Looking for anyone with a connection to a John Chadwick,and wife Amanda who lived in Forsyth Co abt 1880. Their children were Treddy,and Sterling O Chadwick.
Still need to find who were John's parents,and have heard,but not proven,his father was a John Chadwick,brn Nc,and mother was Mary Hodgin brn abt 1831 from SC/NC?.

Any info would be appreciated.

This is a list of the members of the Hezekiah Chadwick Household in Forsyth Co., Ga. in 1870. They are listed in the Hightower District at that time, which was the northwest corner of Forsyth Co., Ga. near the Cherokee and Dawson Co., Ga. lines.

According to my records John and Amanda Chadwick were buried at Friendship Baptist Church John Newton Chadwick was born Dec. 16, 1852 and died Oct. 7, 1925. John's wife, Amanda Tallant-Chadwick was born Feb. 26, 1857. No death date for Amanda

Hezekiah and Elizabeth Chadwick were buried at New Harmony Baptist Church in Forsyth Co., Ga. I show that Hezekiah was born Sept. 5, 1822 and died Dec. 16, 1896. Elizabeth was born Dec. 26, 1821 and died Apr. 30, 1899. I have the Elizabeth Chadwicks' Maiden name was Wooten

Hezekiah and Elizabeth were still living in Hightower Dist. of Forsyth Co., Ga. in 1880.
