Miles Ignatius Norris, b. 30 Mar 1864 was my great grandfather. I am seeking information on his parents and siblings. Do you have any further information on Philip Norris ancestors? Thank you for your help.

Note!!!! the William Norris named as a security in this will was the son-in-law of Wm Norris. Proven by marriage records of Nelson Co. Ky Teresy Norris (named as daughter of Philip Norris) to Wm Norris 1813, Nelson Co. KY.

This has been a MAJOR mistake of researchers.. listing this Wm norris as a son of Philip..He was not....he was the son-in-law!!!

Hi, I found one of your postings on Miles Norris. If my information is correct, we share him as a grandfather. He is my great-great grandfather buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bloomington Illinois. My great grandmother is Rena Norris Carroll, the daughter of Miles and Mary Elizabeth Tennelly.
My name is Sheilie Carroll-Altieri and I share the ancestry site with my best friend Evelyn. Maybe we can exchange information. I live in Heyworth IL, just outside of Bloomington. I can be reached at sheiliealtieri@ymail.com.
