He was from Maine. I'm not sure right off the top of my head where but He was from Maine.

THE FRANK L I HAVE FATHER IS ELI EDGECOMB BORN AUG. 27, 1811. DIED OCT. 28. 1891. HIS FATHER WAS BENJAMIN EDGECOMB . MOTHER SARAH FOSS EDGECOMB. BROTHER AND SISTERS ARE SARAH, ELLA, ANNIE, AND FANNY.

Frank L. was 2 months old at the time of the
1850 census. I have his lineage back to
Nicholas Edgecomb, who came to Maine in
1636/7. I would like to get your lineage from
Frank. Will share any info I have that you
want.

Would you possibly have any info on Mary (Edgecomb) who m. David Young in Maine? I'm looking for a list of their children.

IGI files (LDS site) lists only Mary & Sarah as children b. in Biddeford, York, Me.

An ancestral file says - David Young b. abt. 1694 m. abt. 1720 to Mary (Edgecomb) b. 1698 Marblehead,Essex,Me.; d. 17 Oct., 1778 (same place) - parents Robert Edgecomb & Rachel (Gibbins).

I'm off a 'Young' line in Me. & any help would be greatly appreciated.

My father, Glenwood Edgecomb, had an older brother Frank. They were from Limestone, Maine.

I think we might be related. My father was Lyman Edgecomb. His father was Frank, Glenwoods older brother. My fathers family came to NY from Limestone, ME in 1940.

Mike's grandfather was Frank Lyndon Edgecomb, born 1927 at Lewiston, ME. All other replies on this thread are about Frank Murray Edgecomb from Limestone (born 1897) or even earlier Franks.
