I would like to correspond with you regarding your NEWCOMER information! I have a Mary Magdalena NEWCOMER who married to David SHULTZ, a son of George and Elizabeth SHULTZ. David was born 16 September, 1763, in Frederick Co., Maryland, and died after 26 December, 1842, and before July, 1843, in Augusta Co., Virginia. David and Mary Magdalena were married about 1784. David SHULTZ served (from Washington Co., Maryland} in the militia and is listed as a soldier but a "non-pensioner"). They moved at some point to Virginia and lived on the Augusta/Rockbridge County line, near a place called Boone, 5 miles west of Greenville and 7 miles east of Fairfield. Mary Magdalena (NEWCOMER) SHULTZ is listed in the St. John's Lutheran-Reformed Church Registar, of Middlebrook, Virginia, as having died in 1834. (This is presently St. John's United Church Of Christ)
I would like to know if you recognize this Mary Magdalena NEWCOMER, Joan. You mentioned yet another group of NEWCOMERS from another area in your posting. If you do not have her, would she be of "that" particular family? Please E-mail me!
