Does anyone know the address of any cemetery in Delaware City? I would like to try to find my relatives while visiting there. If I can not, I would like to write to someone to get a list of interments. Any help is appreciated.

There is only one cemetery actually in Delaware City of which I am aware. It is the City Cemetery and is accessible of of Clinton Street. What are the names and dates of death of those that you are seeking? You can reach me directly at teecee62@comcast.net

Is there a cemetery at Fort Delaware? I think some of my LeCates and Matthews relatives served there during the Civil War and am curious if any ended up there.

There is no cemetery at Ft. Delaware. The remains of both Union and Confederate soldiers who died there are interred at Finn's Point National Cemetery in New Jersey. Of course, it is also possible that a Delaware soldier who died there is located in another local cemetery.

The largest cemetary is located behind 528 Clinton St. There is a throughway next to that residence to access the cemetary. There is also a cemetary located at the Presbyterian Church at 138 Jefferson Street. There is also a Catholic cemetary easily visible and accessible from the road if you continue out Clinton Street towards St. Georges/Rt.13.
