Mary Baker born in Arkansas, died March 10, 1910,Bennington, Oklahoma. I tried to l/u her death certificate several years ago w/ no luck and so I became frustrated and gave up. I was told that I had to l/u the death in the local county records. Can anyone help me? It's important to me to find out who her parents were. Thank you. Marti

The newspaper issues for that month are missing. I looked at Bennington and Caddo. I will look at other records the next time I am at the genalogy library. I will get back to you if I find anything. There were several Bakers and Bells in the Bennington, Boswell, Jackson areas. One was a preacher. One was a widow with about eight children. One was a life insurance salesman.

Thank you so very much! I believe that Mary's husband George Baker was a farmer. They had a son who was 19 at the time, he was a farm laborer and their oldest daughter who was 17 was a servant. They also had 3 younger sisters who were a couple of years younger. I know that Mary had a brother that I think lived close by. I have a picture of Mary with her brother and his wife and two children. The picture was takened by J P Wingo. I found a Jasper P Wingo who was a photographer living in Checotah, Creek Nation, Indian Territory so I'm sure that her brother, whose last name is Bell was living there somewhere. I would like to find other relatives but for right now I would really like to know who her parents were. :o)
