Clarence A. Cobb
1937-2005
SAVANNAH, Mo. — Clarence A. Cobb, 68,
Savannah, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2005, at his home in
Savannah, Mo.
He was born Jan. 6, 1937, in St. Joseph, Mo., and had lived in Whitesville, Mo., for many years before moving to
Savannah in 1997.
Clarence was a retired radiator repair and body man. He served in the United States Air Force.
Clarence was a member of the Pony Express American Legion Post No. 389, Disabled American Veterans No. 6, both of St. Joseph, Mo., and the
Andrew County Lake Club.
Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his mother,
Cora Faye Poteet.

Graveside service and interment: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005,
Bennett Lane Cemetery, north of
Savannah, Mo. Military service at the grave under the direction of King City (Mo.) American Legion Post No. 132. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the
Gibson Funeral Home, King City, Mo. The family requests memorial donations be given to the Southwest Indian Foundation, P.O. Box 86,
Gallup, N.M. 87302-0001.
