Location of Old Dutch Cemetery
Hi,
I'm looking for the location of the "Old Dutch Cemetery" that's supposed to be south of St. Clairsville. Would anyone happen to have the GPS coordinates?
I found a description "Located 1/2 mile off County Rd 5 about 1 mile SW of the intersection with State Route 9." But as I look at a map that doesn't make any sense to me. It would make sense if it were SE instead of SW, but I still don't know that I could find it.
I plan on visiting Ohio in a couple of weeks and would love to visit this cemetery - if I can find it! :-)

There are burials listed for this cemetery at Find-A Grave, and via google, it appear sit is also known as Zion Cemetery.

Re: Location of Old Dutch Cemetery
Yeah, I saw the cemetery on Find A Grave, problem is the location information is pretty much what I wrote in my initial post. Hadn't heard that it was also called Zion Cemetery, I'll have to see if I can find anything about that.

The cemetery itself is on private land. You turn right off of State Route 9 and go into a residential neighbor and another right onto a gravel driveway. Ask permission at home.

Did you ever find this cemetery?

No. Didn't have a lot of time to look though. I hope to go back again next summer and try again.
