Looking for more information on St. Landry ancestors.

What is the approximate timeframe and specific information you need on your St. Landry ancestors? Winston Boudreaux, winston@asbank.com

They were born in the 1830's. They' my great-reat grandparents. My great grand father was also Named Henry White, who married Simonia(both born 1863). They gave birth to my GrandFather Clifton White(1890). He moved to Beaumont,TX where he died in the 60's.

How is your search coming....

I have been in school for the past 2 semesters, so I have been extremely lax on my search. I am presently in seminary, working fulltime, wife , 9 y.o and a 9 month old. I hope to pick things back up after this semester. How about you. Where do you live? I live in Houston, Tx. Don't forget to let me know about that reunion. I think I am going to ride to Opelousas this summer to search records. I went one time before and found all kinds of stuff. I have got to scan some of the things I have and get them to you soon.

It has been awhile. Just checking on you and the family. For the last year, we have been working in Texas but are moving back to Lafayette in 2 weeks so I will pick this back up. Were are you these days? Beaumont, Houston, etc. Maybe one day our families can meet up....Also, mark your calendar for June 30 & Aug 1, 2012. This is our family reunion...White-Cahee Family.
