Does anyone know of Orhanages in Ky. in the 1860's era ?
Trying to find parents of Wilbur & William ; born Erwin/Irwin ,

Surnames:
My great grandfather was born in Russell Co KY around 1860 and I suspect he may have been orphaned during the Civil War. I can't find any records on him or his paretns until 1910 in TN. Did you find any Civil War orphanages in your research?
