I am searching for Jesse Staub & wife Stacey Ann (last name unknown). Jesse was listed on the 1840 census of Frederick Co., Md (Creagerstown area) as Jesse Staup. He is believed to have died sometime between 1849 & 1850. Stacey Ann remarried Nov.1,1850 in Jefferson Co.WV. I have been unable to find the burial place of Jesse. Cannot move further back with my research until I learn the names of Jesse's parents or siblngs. I would greatly appreciate any assistance that someone could offer. No information found in Frederick Co.courthouse.

Hi I was just wondering if you ever found out any more on Jesse Staubs' birthdate, parents, etc. I am doing research and he is my grandfathers Great-great grandfather I would like to go further in my research but like you were I am stuck!
