My name is Forrest Dean Halford as is my
fathers. He was born in Modesto California in
1924. Just thought I would post that and see
if anyone knows anything or it this helps anyone.

My paternal grandmother was Ruth HALFORD whose
brothers were Frank and Dean and whose parents
were Albert James HALFORD and Marie DEAN. The
HALFORD line was from Indiana, the DEAN line from
NY and MASS.

Given your middle and surname, I thought there might be
a connection.

My dad's middle name if Franklyn, a combination of family names Lyman and Frank.
Can you be more specific on Frank? I'll check my lineage and reply later.
