I have trees with others on it and I belong to trees of others. About 3 weeks ago I have added census etc to their trees and to mine, everyone was able to see them. Now no one can but me.

I don't get what is going on. I called Ancestry today and they are pushing this as we need to update our Java. Come on really. I am a paying member I deserve a better answer then that. So one of my cousins called and they told her something different.

I have a tree with over 10,000 names now I have to spend my time downloading to my computer and then uploading to each person under image.

They are taking abilities away from my guest (btw they are added as editors)on my trees. What is the point then of having people invited on my tree? Why have us choose if they should be guest, contributors or editors if all they will be is guest with out any way of viewing what I have added.

They don't make money if you give away all the good stuff.

I am showing the proof of what my tree shows. So then why have the option of sharing information. Why then invite people. Why allow a connection to see others trees. They set it up not me. This was an ability they gave to tree owners.

Im just saying why have it then remove it and denie when it was always offered. Why remove with out letting members know.

One more point I would like to make. All those who have added their hints and then they don't renew will not be able to view the records while they had a membership. That is already happening.

So now if you have a tree your sharing you will need to keep all your hints on your pc. If you want to keep proof of your findings.
