I wonder if anyone can help me decipher a name on the 1860 census of Cherry Creek, Chautauqua County, NY?

The name is Erastus _____sted? He's age 73, born CT
His wife if Rhoda, age 65, born MA

The surname has been transcribed as Ufelee but I don't think this is correct.

I've looked on the 1850 census and the 1870 census but havent't been able to find them.

Thanks.

I'm guessing Olmsted. It doesn't look anything like Olmsted, but there is an Erastus Olmsted in Chautauqua County in both the 1840 (Villanova) and 1850 (Harmony) census, and he is in the right age range (50-60 in 1840; listed as 60 in 1850, but it's fairly close). In 1850, he is in Harmony with Rhoda, in the household of a Benjamin Essex.

According to the transcription of the 1860 census published by the Chautauqua County Genealogical Society they are listed as Umpsted but with a note "Olmstead?".
