My great-great grandfather was William Wilson. He was born some time around 1870. His wife from records I can find is a Caroline Bradshaw. They had a boy named Miler, that was born in Mar 16, 1896. I cannot find any correlating records that link any William Wilsons to a son named Miler Marcellus Bleufred Wilson. This is my great grandfather. I am wondering if William is even from Putnam Co. Miler was born in Hartford, MO. This is in Elm Township from what I can figure out.

The Record that tells me this is the Iowa State Census Collection, 1836-1925. My great grandfather later moved his family to Marshall Co., Iowa and this is where I got the record from.

Thank you,

You have solidified my beliefs on what record is the possible one. You wouldn't happen to know of a death record would you?

Sincerely,
J. Wilson

Death certificate is online at the following site. The date of birth is different than census but sometimes the census is wrong.
