Little Current has lost another of her prominent citizens i n the person of Mr Geo Armstrong. Afterwards he bought a much better farm at Green Bay and there he prospered being a careful and successful farmer . After his family was grown up he decided to sell his far m and go into store keeping at Sheguiandah. The burning o f the store however put an end to this project but some time after he bought R. Maltas' business in Little Current an d carried on quite a thriving business till his death whic h occurred last Friday at the hospital Toronto where he ha d gone for treatment a few weeks before. He leaves a wife
and a large family who with the exception of a son and two d aughters were present for the funeral.
During his life in Little Current he won the confidence an d esteem of the people and for a few years he bore the burd ens of public office. His funeral service on June 7th was largely attended Rev Munro of Sudbury officiating; after whi ch he was taken to Mountain View Cemetery for interment.
