The photograph consists of the following:
William Henry, Harlan, Art, Ed, Martin, Herman Hoffmeier, Mary Barabara Snyder, Henry, Corrine, Margaret, Harry, Harold, Kate, Leroy, young girl identified as Emma, Helen, Nora, Sadie.

I am told that Harry Benning was widowed at an early age. Henry and Margaret Benning cared for Harold, Corrine, and Helen, three of Harry's children. Nora, the oldest of Harry's daughters, went to live with her deceased mother's sister.

Any dates or name changes would be appreciated. Margaret's last name may have been Harve; my inlaws are not sure. Also, I do not have the photo scanned yet, but I will email it per request once I have.

I would like a copy of the photo you mentioned. I have a good bit of information on the Benning family from this area. My grandfather was a brother of Henry Benning that married Margaret Harves. I also have some old pictures in which the people are identified. Does your picture have names?

Hello!
I am in the early stages of my research but I've since discovered my Great Grandfather was Herman Hoffmeier. He married a Theresa(sp?) Dorish(sp?) and had children: Mary, Bernard, Rose, Catherine, and Frederick. Mary being my Great Grandmother. I haven't narrowed down location but I'm thinking either Bucks or Mercer counties. Have you found any more info?
