I was looking better at this map of Crookston and there is a 1, which might be the section number, it consists of several lots, right downtown. Is the picture of a business of some sort? I can see it's marked "Impl" which is probably implement,also see something marked Hardware & furniture, across the street is a Bank and Store.

I have an old 1919 Cherry county Atlas and a map of the old post offices that were in Cherry Co, sometime around 1930/1940. Crookston was northwest of Valentine Nebraska. I am looking at the map that shows T34 R29 and it's showing the layout of the town of Crookston. There are no names on the town lots just numbers. If I can be of any more help please let me know.

The drawing might be a piece from a book, but I am not sure.

My Family was from Mullen and Valentine plus Cozad and Lexington.
If you can find either one of these names listed please let me know. I will be going back there this summer to find any thing that I can. Any infomaion will be greatly apprectied.
I know this is not under the Brown name but thought it might be a chance.

George Dickison married Leta Waggoner 1913 in Mullen.
Richard and Alber Waggoner. There was several Dickinsons and most of them were around Cozad and Lexington. There was also some o th Sawyers and Spicers in the same area, Some of them was supposed to have moved up into Cherry Coo. I am still looking up the information on this not sure as of now.
