Would like to contact any members of the family of Harry Tilley. He was born in Indiana about 1905, moved to Washington around 1930. Children Patty, Jerry and Birdie.

There are a couple of volunteers for obits on Random Acts Genealogical Kindness, www.raogk.org. Read the instructions, choose Washington, choose Yakima Co.

You can also request an obituary published in WA from the Washington State Library, www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx . They will search the newspaper microfilm for 60 minutes at no charge and email to you what they do or don't find.

After I receive the obit, I use www.whitepages.com to find current contact info for survivors. Successful Searching!

Thanks for the response! I didn't know about the service from the WA state library.

I did find a kind person who did a lookup for me and found obituaries for Harry, his wife Vernis and his son Jerry. This gives me a lot to work with.
