I have a picture postcard from Clara Thomas of herself dated 1909 to Mrs. Joe Groves, 419 E. Midland, Bay City, Michigan.

This is just a shot in the dark. Your Clara Thomas may not be the same Clara Thomas that is in my ancestry. My Clara was born Clara Alice Felty and married Adam Thomas. She was born 3-Nov-1883 in Snyder County, PA. I too have a photo of her. Let me know if this is worth trading info.

I just started researching my great grandfather (Melvin Henry Felty, born in 1902) and his mother is listed as Clara Alice Felty. At some point as a child, he was given up for adoption, and later in life he changed his last name to Walter. He passed away in approx. 1962. My grandmother (my mom's mom) was is only daughter, born Arla Lorraine Felty. We have many photos that he saved through the years. He also wrote poetry and we have a poem he wrote about visiting his biological parents. I would love to see a photo of Clara to determine whether we have any photos to share with you. Thank you!
