Looking for information on William MOCKBEE who married Lucinda KEENE 13 Jan, 1847 in KY

I too am interested in these people. I have seen the marriage listing. I have a gggrandmother who was born in St. Charles MO in 1853. Her name Mary Frances (Mollie) MOCKBEE. A census for 1860 lists a William, Lucy age 32, others, and a Frances age 7. I know its a stretch, but perhaps Lucy was Lucinda and Frances was my gggrandmother? Let me know what you find and I will do the same.

I can give you quite a bit of information about Lucinda Keene's family, but not William Mockbee. They were my ggrandparents. I have run into a wall on William. Have you found anything? Or maybe youv'e found they are not in your line?

I suspect that William Mockbee's father was Tillman Mockbee (a neighbor in the 1860 St. Charles Co. census of Portages Des Sioux) by his first wife Cynthia Johnston.

Where & when did William Mockbee die?

Wm Mockbee is my gggrandfather. i am related through his daughter Mary Francis. I cannot find anyone in this family after the 1860 Missouri census. My ggrandmother shows up getting married in 1876 in Springfield, Illinois. I find one son James in the 1870 census, but no one else anywhere. Its as if the dropped off the face of the earth.

I also agree that Tilman is Wm's father, but no real proof can I find.
