Am looking for any information concerning these four people. Walter was my grandfather, Herman, Bertha Wanda are Great Uncle Great Aunts. They were raised and lived in Beaver Falls, PA.

Searching for information on Andraes Yokel who came to the U.S. in 1904. Wife Elisabeth Minster. They had 3 children at the time. Alexander, Theresa Rose, Amalia was 3 or 4 mo. old. Were supposed to have landed in Baltimore. Went to Nebraska then to Colorado. There decendents of this family living in the Portland, Or. area. Any info will be appreciated.

Hi! My maidon name was Yokel. I was so surprised to find so many people with my same last name! Growing up I thought it was such a rare last name. My father is Raymond H. Yokel. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa. His mother was Marie Hoffman Yokel. His father died when he was a young boy. His mother remarried later to Thomas Leahy. Don't know if we are related or not.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but I was on vacation. I asked my father if he thought he knew your father. He didn't. His Mom and Dad were born in Canada.

Nadine, did Andraes have any siblings. Where did they come to America from?

the only son of Louis Harry Yokel. He has a
few sisters, one of which may have married
a Hoffman. My father in-law doesn't seem to
know much about his ancestory. They thought
they might be related to Jockels.
