All I know is that documents show my great grandfather using cruz-manjarrez and my grandfather used it as a youngster; however, for some reason when he had kids he only used manjarrez. My grandfather and great grandfather are from the state of Guerrero in Mexico. I was also told that the name came from spain.

Hello Ciro, I've been looking for the origins of my last name: Manjarrez. My great grandfather used to add the "Cruz" (Cruz Manjarrez). His name was Juan Cruz-Manjarrez Rabadán. Do you know what Manjarrez means, or the origin of this name? Thank you in advance. Do you speak Spanish?
