Is anyone looking up the Bowhays in West Devon or East Cornwall, England

Hi,just seen your message on the noticeboard.
I was just browsing really beause of our unusal surname.My father was born in Devon on 6/11/30 if you like I can find out from him further details ie,his fathers details etc.

I have just found this programme seen your message.
My mother is a Bowhay from Blackawton, Devon, England. She has two sisters her father was Ernest Bowhay. Born died in Blackawton. I have traced her fathers ancestery back to the 1600's but will have to dig out the paperwork. Love to hear from you.
