I am researching my grandmother's family and Guillermo Silva took care of my grandmother according to the 1930 census I believe. The lady who took care of my grandmother her father's name is Guillermo Silva. Her name is Maria Silva Sias she lived at the same residence as Guillermo Silva and so did my grandmother. In the 1930 census my grandmother is listed as a granddaughter to Guillermo but they are not related but he took care of my grandmother. My grandmother was from Mimbres NM. Guillermo's daughter Maria Silva married Pablo Sias who his sister married my grandmother's uncle. I'm reserching relatives also from Grant Co and Luna Co and all over NM. Thank You.

My Grandmother, Elisa Braun Quinones worked as a maid at the Frank Silva Ranch. Mr. Silva's wife was know by her nickmame "Cuca", I think.

In 1900 Guillermo (b. June 1866) is listed with his mother, Maria Silva age 66, his wife Virginia, 26, and children Maria, 7; Daniel, 6; Adelina, 4; and Virginia 1.
