Your link to the Layton family is unknown to me. There
was Samayoa who is a food photographer in Guatemala City.
The Samayoa's (Zamalloa Basque) has many members
in Guatemala City. My uncle had at least 35
grand children and ran movie theaters in the City and
Antigua (sp). There is a statue in the park of
Industry in zone 7 in Guatemala City. There is also
area of the city with Samayoa in its name. The name most
likely was Zamalloa near Bilbo, Spain with possible
migration to Peru?, Teguciagaipa, Honduras, Guatemala,
El Salvador and Samayoa, Mexico in Chipas.

Lolita Samayoa 1916 ? Married Tom Layton and had seven sons, Larry 1947, Ricky, Hilton, Tommy etc. Lolita is my aunt and sister of Margarita Samayoa Viaux, my mother. Any info you have would be great. I'm in Guatemala now and trying to find any relatives. Many thanks, Mino

Gloria Samayoa se caso con Camilo Samayoa y Bonifas. Tuvieron muchos hijos/as. Gloria Samayoa la primers se caso con Fred Frank Jr , y Vivian in Wash DC, Lolita Samayoa se caso con Tom Layton in vivieron en Guatemala, Margarita Samayoa se caso con Frederic Viaux y vivieron en Boston, mis papas, Mary y Julie Samayoa se quedaron en Cuba hasta que vino Castro. Los Minos heran Luis Camilo no se el otro. Se murieron jovenes. Espero que esto le ajuran. Esto en Guatemala ahora y bunco mi familia. Si sabe algo de la familia Layton me gustaria mucho orir.
