I am looking for information on three HORN family members who migrated from Delaware to Harrison Co. OH (Green and Washington Townships) and Tuscawaras Co. OH (Washington and Perry Townships) ca. 1820. I believe they are brothers:
Stephen Horn b. 3/31/1775 DE m. 1. Susan Wilkerson 2/16/1803 Kent Co. DE 2. Rebecca (Wilkerson) abt. 1820
Moses Horn b. Bet. 1770 and 1780 DE m. Sarah Gray/ Gary/ Geary 1/16/1808 Kent Co. DE. Sarah m. 2 Frederick Spring, Sr. bef. 1838 Harrison or Tuscawaras Co. OH
Noah Horn b. 1780-1790 DE m. 1. Mary Lewis 1/6/1806 Kent Co. DE 2) Mary Polly Pierce 12/17/1811 Kent Co. DE
Possible 4th brother Robert Horn m. Mary Amos 1/1/1804 Kent Co. DE

Any information on this family and help sorting out their children would be appreciated. I am primarily interested in the line of Moses Horn. His descendants migrated to Shelby/Fayette Cos. IL.

She had several children with a Haws/Hawse family. Then in 1895 she married Andrew Bird Newman, 1847,Va/Oh.,after he died she returned to the Hawse family.,when she passed, the older Hawse children, raised my Grandfather. Clarence Edward Newman, 1898,June 17th. Adams Co Ohio.
She was related to a Cannon family, and a HORN family that lived nearby, and had some kind of connection with James Horn.
She lived in So Ohio, but, she was somehow connected to family in Northern Ohio. Bird died in Cuyahoga Co. Linda Clayhummingbird@yahoo.com

I have tried searching the Horn family for years and finally got through my brick wall last year. I believe I am through Stephen Horn and then his son William Horn and then his daughter Elizabeth (wouldn't you know I am through an Elizabeth - no wonder it was a brick wall). I would be happy to share what I have found. I am working on all 3 brothers. There is a Kiser Horn in the 1800 census in Kent County, Delaware also.

I typed you a long email reply to your email address and it will not send. I installed windows live to send it and it is still in my outbox. I don't know what else to do right now. I don't want to retype as it is rather long. I am not to good with computers so will have to get help. Maybe it is my default. The error message says it is settings to do with yahoo account. Anyway you will get an answer someday.

Betty,

My name is Ryan Horn and I have tried in what little way I can to find information about my family. My Great, great, great grandfather Moses Horn migrated out of Delaware to Ohio and had a son by the name of Noah. Noah went on to have a son Thornton who eventually migrated from Ohio to shelby & Fayette county Illinois. This is my family and I really don't have any info other than that. Anything you can share?

Sincerely,
Ryan Horn

I believe I can help you with your search. I am from Noah and Moses Horn's brother, Steven Horn. From Steven to William Horn to Elizabeth Horn (married John Waite). I was born in Shelby County, IL although I now live in Evansville, IN. The 3 Horn brothers and their families all born in Delaware moved to Harrison Co., OH. They settled in Harrison County and Tuscarawas Co., OH. If you would like to email me direct jbmyers@wowway.com I will look through my information.

Hello, I am hoping that we are going to be able to help each other. My great grandfather was John Herman Horn Sr., his son was John Herman Horn Jr., my mom was Ina Belle Horn Paradee. My family is from the Herrick-Ramsey area that is in Fayette Co. Illinois.

John Herman Horn Sr. 1881-1965
John Herman Horn Jr. 1917-1993
Ina Belle Horn Paradee 1937-2007

I cannot find anyone past my great grandfather. It is like he did not have any family. I was five when he died, but I remember him. I do remember that my mother had told me that he had three half brothers and I think one of them was named Frank. Maybe you have the info I need and I have the information you need. My name is Valerie Gebhardt and my email is vgebhardt10@yahoo.com
