I am trying to research the Wolfert family who moved to Wisconsin in early 20th Century. I can provide the year came to Wisconsin and the year they were married in Mary Magdalene Church in Goes. I am stumped at how to find out anymore information the parents (who remained in Goes) of my ancestors who came to America.

Please provide the information that you have (besides the last name) and that would help us search for you.

have you tried the free search site in holland called zeeuwengezocht.nl it's in dutch but has an english button in the upper right side. then just go search wolfert in goes and it will give you evry one that was there back to 1600 or so. then you cansort them by year by clicking on the column heading. and then look thru those that match.

just did aquick search in goes and came up with about 50 listings. only a couple of marriages, buut plenty of court listings. wolfert with no town, gives you hundreds in over a dozen towns in zeeland and I'll bet you find those ancesters. good hunting
