I am looking for anyone who might have a connection to the Kepus relatives who migrated to the United States in early 1900's.

Again I thank you for all your information and I will certainly make use of them. I know many villages have had the names changed many times but I am almost certain my father-in-law was from the Trencin area.

Have you already researched the church records of Trencin?
I suspect your ancestors came thru other port to America than NY Ellis Island.

No I had not - I did not know how to find those records - I just know the whole family was Catholic.

Where in Ohio are you. Both Donald and I are originally from Toledo.

Not sure if this will relate to you, but I have a Kapus line..wonder if it just evolved into Kepus? My Kapus is listed as having been born (or come from) Jablonova in 1904. Father was John, mother Annie, son Martin. Martin married my grandfather's sister. They lived in Western Pennsylvania, in Tarentum.
