can't find war records of wm. riley or history of john who was agent at treaty of dancing rabbit was all over Ms but came from where? as didn't reside Ms..just there on war efforts.may have resided Al.contact doroab@webtv.net to correct or inform me if you have data,ok?

I have a william Lawrence Riley, md. to Louisa Wilcox, who was employed by the federal government in the dept. in charge of Indian affairs. they lived at Henderson, Illinois. In 1866, Wm. disappeared on a courier mission for the US gov..he was last seen in the Trinidad Trading Post never arriving at Rantoun, Ariz. His son,md. Mary Ann McKee. Her father was Allen McKee, mother Harriet Hull. I do not know who John might be or if this is the same Wm. Riley. I am also looking for more info. Hope this helps. mshirts@mindspring.com

Hi again! Almost 3 yrs since we wrote,yes?? My Wm. Riley wed Julia Gilder 1859 or earlier, as is on 1860 census with her & son, Ike.. I probably said this 3 yrs ago, but in case I didn't!!
