Val,
Thanks for taking the time to post this. I had stumbled across the death certificate last week of Peter Katts & Prudence's daughter Anna and I didn't know Prudence's last name since the marriage record was mistranscribed. Now I have her with her family. Thanks!!

Andrea,
One thing I wasn't too careful on but came to me after. Deborah Bradway was one of the grantors, not dead yet as I had assumed because of the Heirs being listed.

Because her brothers will included her heirs when he devised the property to her...she AND her heirs (which was underlined in the deed as recorded) then she couldn't sell without them.

Not the way it usually happens, so just wanted to make that clear. I should have headed the subject line as Deborah Bradway AND Heirs to William Biddle.

Can you hook me up on the Katts boys? Do they go back to Jacob, who is about the earliest I have?

Small detail to correct for those who might wish to plat the metes and bounds.

The marks of the third boundary or side should include East after the degree mark, so correct that description to read S29*E , 7 chains and 60 links.

I'd realized my mistake after I tried to plug it in to a platting program and wouldn't line up. So rechecked the deed in the courthouse yesterday. I haven't tried again yet, but hope this will make it work.
