Hi everyone. I'm doing a geneology research on the Craig family. I have gotten only to my great-great grandparents and would hope to trace further. So if anyone out there could help me how to find something like that...because these websites are confusing or has any information then please reply to this message. The farthest I have gotten is to Scott Craig and his wife Mary Keller. And Willy Tanner and his wife Fetter Tanner.
any info. please reply ASAP

Hello "Searcher"! I have Craig's in my line.. but let me tell you some basic info that you are always going to need to provide and/or use as you go froward with your search..

Names are necessary of course.. but you will soon find out how many people have had the same name as what you are looking for...

Anyhow... give us at least some general birth and death dates of the folks that you are looking for. Location is key..
Country, State, City, County etc... where born ... where died.. spouses names and childrens... Maybe then someone will see a connection to what you are looking for. I have tough ones too.. Craig.. Smith... Davis... Tough in respect that they are common names. Anyhow.. gotta run. Look forward to seeing more info on the Craig's listed.

The Craig's on my side seemed to have come from Scotland and landed in Charleston SC. It started with Thomas Craig married to Sarah "Sally" Bradley sometimes in the early 1800's They lived in Aiken, Which was Millborn County South CarolinaTheir first child was Jasper or Gasper born June 30, 1830 and died December 27, 1889. Do you have any information on this.

I have a grandfather named Thomas Craig and I'm not sure if maybe he got his name from back when but I have been stuck on the Craig side when I got to Scott Craig because he doesn't have a middle name and killed himself in the great depression. Can you help?

We are the Craigs that lived on Chime Bell Church Road in Aiken South Carolina. The Thomas Jr. that I have ws born 11,13,1835 I don't have his death date down but I do know that he was buried at Town Creek Cemetery in Aiken SC. He married a Jane Holley born July 13, 1837 and Died December 24, 1919. Is this the one you are looking for? I have other information if it is. Thank You for answering. If you are from this line we are planning a Family Reunion for June 15,16 this year.

His Mother anf Father were Avery Craig(born.1892 died 1962) and Alifair Renew(born 1895 and died 1940) they are both in the Graniteville cemetary. Where is the twon creek cemetary? Are you from Aiken? Thanks alot! Delilah Dederscheck
