Erected by Mr George Manson of Triumph Plantation, Demerary to commemorate for a few years longer the mouldering relics of parents who were most affectionately beloved & sincerely regretted by him: George Manson b on the 26 of October 1732 - d 14 Jan 1807; Margaret Thom b 22 Oct 1732 - d on the 9 of Nov 1792
