Bakers Forge Cemetery

I am trying to get directions to Bakers Forge Cemetery. The information I have is that it is 6 miles south of LaFollette, TN on Demory Road. From the only map I have, Demory Road looks quite long.

Can anyone from the area give me a cross road or landmark? Is it near a church? Is the cemetery marked?

Thanks for your help.

Where are you coming from, so I can start the directions? I live less than a mile from Bakers Forge. Are you from LaFollette? Are you from Campbell County? Angie

Hi to get to Bakers Forge (my best friend Stacy Hatfield is buried out there) You turn off by Poor Boy's rest. You'll come to a crossroad by a church (white i believe) do not turn up the hill stay right, keep going you will pass another church brick, keep going you will go accross the white bridge keep going you will pass an old timey store that is cedar or wood siding or something like that I believe it is called Chaniot's keep going not long after that you will be coming up on the cemetary you cant miss it it is up on the hill and has a sign good luck let me know if you can find it by my directions.

angie my email is mgs1068@aol.com.

i am trying to pin point the locations of some ancestors who i know are buried there. I believe in plots k1 k2 and k3. the names of my kinsman are

joseph campbell
marie campbell
pulaski nelson

they were part of the norris dam re-interment project and relocated to bakers forge. some of my kin today are starting the planning of a campbell reunion in the area for this summer and i was hoping to have the locations known and verified.

Question: do you know of anyone related to the campbell's, taylors or burtons. they live around jellico in the early 1900's.

thanks a bunch.
