Fix "Message Preview" to be formatted like "Post" format

Hello,
Please fix the the display for a message "Preview" so that it is formated like it will ultimately be "Posted". I like to make a list of people like in a family group sheet and it will post that way but in preview it is all run together like HTML.

I tried [PRE] and [/PRE] but I could not post the message. I suggest allowing those HTML codes. I will try it again now.
[! PRE]
Name Born Died
[! /PRE] Well PRE now seems to work in Preview but crashed in when I tried to Post it, so I changed it to [! PRE].

Also please allow putting in URLs that are actual links.
Thanks.

I agree. Lots of folks don't understand how to select/copy/paste URL's - they want to "click" an actual link. I tried adding HTML last night too, but couldn't get it to take either.

I can't believe they haven't fixed this and your message is FIVE YEARS OLD. I just wrote a long reply on a message board and hit "preview" and it's all smushed together - it looks like none of my returns went through. So I googled my problem and came up with your post. It sounds like you're saying that if I actually post the message it will be formatted the way I had it.

What's the point of "Preview" if it doesn't actually preview the formatted message?

It seems like somebody at Ancestry.com wrote the programming code for the message board system like eight years ago and just dropped it. If anyone at Ancestry.com is reading this, please fix.

Now that posters can EDIT their posts it would seem that a preview feature is not necessary anyway. Just post and if you make any errors--edit your post.
