My grandfather was Calvin Lewis Hennis(Bea)(b.9-1-1880)He was born in the Healing Springs Precient(census) Copeland, Al.His father was William Hennis(b.12/1849) and his mother was Mattie Rogers(b.12/1862). He had a brother Burl and a sister Mary Jane, that is all I know. He married Emma Palmer(b.11-15-1888) from Frankville Area.

Surnames:
Hey there,
Calvin Hennis, (the one you mentioned), is my great grandfather. William's Mothers name was Tabitha, born 1834, and his Father's name was "L" Hennis. I can't find out what the L stands for.
